Ratings Path

ATC RATINGS

S1
Student 1 — OBS/DEL/GND

Entry-level rating. Delivery and ground control. Study: ATC basics, ATIS, pushback procedures.

S2
Student 2 — TWR

Tower control. Runways, takeoffs, landings. Separation on the airfield and in the circuit.

S3
Student 3 — APP

Approach and departure control. Terminal radar procedures, vectoring, holds.

C1
Controller — CTR

Enroute centre control. OCTA, oceanic, high altitude. Full radar separation.

C3
Senior Controller

Senior controller. Can mentor S1/S2 students. Full VATPAC endorsement.
